Residents Try to Foil Opening of Liquor Shops in Falakata Subhashpally

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 12^th April, 2017: At Falakata today the local residents stopped the work of a liquor godown and a liquor shop. The incident occurred at Falakata’s Subhashpally and Subhash Nagar area. A written and signed memorandum was today submitted to the District excise department for not allowing opening any sort of liquor business in the area for maintaining the cultural peace in the place. Such signed appeal letters were also submitted to the BDO, Falakata Panchayat Samity and the IC of Falakata Police station. The Falakata purohit Kalyan samity also is also supporting the movement. The local residents are very much hopeful that the administration will take stern action against such businessmen.
